Description

If you are a serious Vintage Can Am collector, his is a RARE opportunity to own an all Original, ow usage, omplete, unning example of the rare Can Am 320 Trials Motorcycle. These bikes, anufactured by Armstrong Cooper Motorcycles (ACM) of England were sold in most of the world under the Armstrong badge. The majority that were shipped to North America were rebadged as Can Ams. The '83 and '84 models were powered by a Sammy Miller inspired Hiro motor. Later models had a Rotax motor, s Hiro had filed for insolvency. We acquired this bike from the second owner, ho bought it in 1990 and stored it properly in a climate controlled facility. From the looks of the unmarked skidplate and frame, his bike never saw any serious off road usage or was ever used in an Observed Trials event. The original Michelin Trials tires look brand new, ith no cracking. The gold anodized Akront rims do not have a mark or a scratch on them. The Marzocchi rear shocks have plenty of damping, owever the rubber bumpers on the shock rods are dried and cracked. The Marzocchi forks are pristine and do not leak. The speedo mounted on the right fork leg is undamaged and shows 355 miles. All of the plastic and fiberglass on this bike is a 9.8 or better out of 10. The decals on the one piece seat/tank show some very minor rubbing wear. There is also a small amount of rubbing wear to the paint by the footpegs. The footpegs are sharp and undamaged. The original Domino controls are intact. The grips have some minor cracking. The original Wassell bars are undamaged as are the red Venhill cables. A new air filter has been ordered. The original Del Orto carb was removed and cleaned, ut was spotless inside when opened. The bike started easily after several kicks, nd fuel was fed from a remote tank to avoid putting any fuel in the original tank. The vent hose fitting on the Acerbis gas cap is broken, nd we are in the process of sourcing a new one. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS! This bike will be sold with a Bill of Sale. If you are interested, nd for an extra $75 if I am successful, will try to get it street registered in New Hampshire. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION! It will go to the highest bidder. Due to problems with non-payers, f you have less than 5 feedback, ou MUST contact me before bidding, r you bid will rejected and you be blocked from bidding. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation. All shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the winning bidder. I will make myself available as needed to facilitate pickup. Thanks, ob
