1961 Cushman Eagle Motor Scooter

This Cushman was on display at a local Arby's restaurant for probably 30 years. Looked good then. Thephoto shows it in white on the pedestal. I purchased it and was ready to start the restoration, ut gave the engine a try. After flushing the old oil and refilling the oil and gas, t took only 3 kicks to start it. I found that it was/is a very strong engine, out of 10 times will start on the first kick.

Nearly everything from the tires and wheels up are new, nd the photos will fully explain the restoration. I have the windshield brackets, ut not the windshield. The saddle bags were treated for 90 days at a local sadle shot with some kind of Swedish oil.

The scooter has been on display at the Mid-America Museum of Aviation and Transportation from the time I restored it until now. A real museum piece.

It runs out very strong and fast. No speedo, o you have to guess at the speed.

I really can't think of anything it needs.
