59 Cushman Trailster

I am the second owner of this rare 1959 Cushman Trailster motorcycle / scooter. I purchased this motorcycle from the original owner in Erie Colorado who purchased it new in 1960 for hunting. I have restored this rare bike 100% original condition. Everything is as it would have come from the factory with the exception it is powder coated and not painted. ! Motor is fully restored inside and out! It would easily classify as museum quality restoration! It has the non-typical full side panels!All restoration photos documenting the restoration are available to the new owner for record!It has been started after the restoration to test it running functions yet the pistons and rings have not been fully seated . It has about a mile on it today!Everything on this collectors bike is as it should be!8hp Husky motor ( the big one)All new restoration quality tires are newRestoration quality seatPowder coated partsRides and runs perfectly!The only item that is not replaced is the shift lever. It is the original and has not been replaced. Other than that. It's a vintage restoration of a slice of Americana! My kids are driving me nuts to ride it but it's one of those things!. too nice to do that!. f this Trailster does not sell it will be on display at the Cushman of America National Rally in June in Greeley Colorado.
