UPDATE MAY 7TH.
Front wheel spokes are a early Billy Lane 80 count twisted spokes. The 1966 HD Wide Glide Down Tubes were "Old School" "SHAVED". I band sawed off the fender mounts made and mandrill to hold the tubes in my lathe and turned down the protruding aluminum fender/brake mounts till I was just skimming the O.D. of the Down Tubes. Then I Tig Welded all the dents and pits from when these were last on the road. Back to lathe turned it all down to the O.D. Then sandpaper course to fine grit. Then they went out for triple chrome plating. Re-Tapped the down tubes NPT hydraulic drain holes installed new S.S. 1/4" NPT allen's. While there is still tiny tiny pits you have to really look for them.Back in the "Day" these custom bikes had a theme a "name". My Shovie is named "Little Blue Devil". There is little "details" all over the bike for this theme. The "Sissy Bars" chrome spikes between the Billy Lane Risers on the Handlebars a custom machined S.S. "Horns" Look at the pics closely and you will see them. Same for a S.S. hand made part that holds the CV Carb onto the Shovelhead Motor has "Horns". Machined and hand grained for a satin finish.Bike Comes with vintage close matching blue metal flake helmet with tiny chrome spike "Horns". LBD is a "Horny Bike".New set of chrome extra valve covers seals springs clips cones.Seat is a vintage 1970 E&L Chopper Seat that was won on ebay and was still in orgional box NOS. Note: Seat can be lifted right off bike for access to battery.Tiny Chrome "Pistons" on the tires Air Caps.12V Battery Tender pull out from under the seat elect plug.Brass HD "Gremlin Bell"Engine does not LEAK".Whole lotta chrome acorns for engine bling.Vintage 1970 era aluminum Anderson Foot Pegs. ebay score.Extra Oil Tank (For Show) Cap that I machined from S.S. and cut on the lathe real 9 m.m. brass bullets that I press fitted into the S.S. Cap. The firing cap is still "live" No dents on center of bullet shell. Yes I held my breath on machining something that has Gun Powder inside. I figured out how to do it without being shot:)On front forks all new seals down tubes chrome top caps and oil. Used orgional HD inside springs and calculated the difference with the 8" O/S Forks by Frank Stanchions the white "PVC" Pipes length for off set of stock HD fork stock springs. 2.5 years to finish the complete front end assembly and install selling off the ugh "Pogoing" 12" O/S orgional vintage 1970 Columbus Cycle Springer Front Forks. (Way better construction than AEE and Jammer Springers all solid metal and heavy) Sold that old front end for 1500.00 on ebay.Custom machined front forks "Stops" outa solid S.S.Custom machined Head Lamp Mount from S.S.Comes with Master Bike Lock for Back Brake Disc. Note: LBD has the simplest wiring harness. Just a on/off switch under the seat. Hence the "Lock". Battery has a 20/30 Amp Fuse too.
OK nice day here in Seattle. I rolled out LBD and she fired on the 4th kick. Went for a spin. Not happy with performance as motor seemed to run rich? was back firing and not purring like it did when last rode. Idle seemed off and had to use throttle to keep revs up. Might be a air leak in the manifold. Shift and clutch could use some fine adjustments. The Carb is what I'm talking about that caused concern. Now I'm not gonna blow smoke up a buyers ass just to sell my baby. I'll tell you the truth and how I feel the bike is performing any problems and such. Might need a pro mechanic to fine tune the CV Carb more know I had it "Re-Jetted" as I took the CV Carb off my other Project Chopper which has a EVO engine. I'll try to sneak it in for an appointment at one of the very few last shops that will even touch these ole Choppers.
STARTING SEQUENCE: Gas On Pull CV Carb Choke All The Way Out Switch On 3-4 Full Throttle Turns Squirt Some Gas into CV Carb. Find No #1 Piston with Kick Start Put your right leg and body weight into it Be Ready for Her to "Breathe" and Come to Life. I usually have a crowd come out to just watch this old Style Chopper Fire Up. (Warm feeling in the tummy) No "Thumb Kicker" here. This is a Chopper. No seats the size of a Toilet Seat and warm your ass no stereo no speedo no drinkie cup holder no GPS no plug ins for keeping your gloves toasty no rear pegs no turn signals no rear shocks no easy reach "Hi/Lo" switch for the Head Lamp you have to reach up over the handlebars to flip the switch right on the back of the Head Lamp. This is a mans solo hard ride Chopper and she rides LOUD and PROUD. Just a complete blast to ride. With the 1966 HD Wide Glide 8" O/S Front Forks "Sweet Ride".

Why Sell my pretty Baby? I don't want to but "house" comes 1st and I have another Chopper I'm finishing out. "Beastie". Neo Rat Bad Ass Chopper. THATS ALL FOLKS!

BFA Degree Design. 1994 Cornish College of the Arts. Seattle Washington State. Before that I was Journeyman Machinist Welder Fabricator. 7 years in Hollywood California designing fabricating sets and props for the movie TV commercials "and" porn. I saw in this bike her lines and I improved. Simply put LBD is a beauty. My second personal build 1st being a 1949 WR motor 45 on a solo frame. Yes I machined the idler location in the engine cam to accept to be able to run a 2 brush G generator. To have that WR 45 motor be on the streets with a head lamp. Never did I try to do a "Magnum" 45 motor punched out to 50+. Jugs pop.
Yeah boring stuff. LBD is an effort at Old School Chopper perfection no gaudy clean CLEAN lines looks good at every angle. Takes me 2-3 years to fine tune a custom to look so pretty. Each one. LBD is my second. The Neo Rat Bad Ass Chopper Combi Christ 117"axle to axle Chopper is next. Everything hand built.
Rogue Works.
