This is a vintage Can-Am MX-250 that I started, nd for the most part completed, ith the intention of it being a land speed racing bike. There are still a few small things to do safety wise in order for it to be complete. This bike is a strong running Rotax 250 single with a 6-speed transmission. It's a full chromoly frame with Marzocci front forks and a BMW GS Showa rear shock. The hubs, ork legs, rees and engine are magnesium. This machine weighs about 185 lbs. I built the rear cowl and modified the tank to fit. The leather work is from New Church Moto in Portland, R. It's a must-see machine and can be made into a street machine with a regulator rectifier combo because the Bosch stator has a 100 watt lighting coil on it.
