2009 DUCATI 1098R BAYLISS LE

It is my pleasure to sell this beautiful and highly collectible 2009 Ducati Troy Bayliss 1098R LE. This tribute bike was built to commemorate retiring three time World SBK Champion. Troy Bayliss. after his last world championship in 2008. The paint scheme is a replica of his bike in the final race of the 2008 season. Original owner 2427 original miles Number 086/500 1 of 500 ever made. This bike represents the last of the high output WSBK homologated trellis framed Ducati’s to date since the new Ducati Superbikes do not use the trellis frame. This is a significant moment in Ducati Superbike history. It has an 1198cc Desmodromic 90 degree V twin DOHC engine with Titanium Connecting Rods and Valves producing over 180Hp with the fitted full Termignoni race exhaust system and matching race ECU. It weighs only 364lbs (dry weight). the equivalent of over 1000hp per tonne. the most powerful of any road bike of its time. The bike comes stock with all the best components including fully adjustable Ohlin Forks. Ohlin TTX rear shock. Brembo Monoblock Calipers with 330 mm rotors and Forged Marchesini wheels.
