This is the ultimate Monster. and now that Ducati has finally brought back the 4-valve Monster. the 1200S. we can see clearly that the Monster S4rs is lighter. faster. and handles better—it truly is the ultimate Monster. There may never be another Monster with this performance. You would be hard-pressed to find a cleaner. more tastefully appointed. Ducati "Monster Superbike" than this. NOTE: This bike is ready to go. It has just had a major service including new timing belts as required by Ducati. Also. the fuel tank was just replaced by Ducati with a brand new one in February 2015. THERE'S TWO THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW before you buy any S4rs: 1) When was the last Major Service performed? It includes changing the timing belts. and can be quite costly. And please note. there's not just a mileage requirement for timing belt change. there is also an age requirement. 2) When was the fuel tank replaced? All S4rs are equipped with plastic fuel tanks. which do not react well to ethanol fuel. If the tank wasn't replaced. it likely needs to be. and you cannot imagine how expensive these tanks are. ORIGINAL PARTS: Included in the sale are the following original take-off parts if the new owner wants them—full exhaust system. ECU. horn. airbox. emissions cannister. bracket and tubing. Purchaser is responsible to arrange and pay for pick-up or shipping of these parts; the parts are included in the sale. the cost of shipping is not.
