The wail this bike makes when opened up with the full Termi is like no other sound. The Microtec was mapped by Ducshop for the bike, ipe and filter. It is fully programmable for ignition and injection. I kept the rev limiter set to stock, ut you can change that too. You can even change the message that scrolls across the instrument screen of your bike every time you turn it on. The 14T front sprocket livens up the bike through the whole gearing range, nd it is invaluable in the city because you can get off the clutch at a slower speed. The Pilot Power 3s are fantastic tires on this bike and have a lot of life left in them.
I made a few aesthetic mods, ut I kept things simple and clean. The biggest change is the fender eliminator. The 848 undertail is a work of art without the stock fender. The Competition Werkes kit is high end all the way. It includes a spotlight on the license plate to comply with the lighting requirement. And the turn signals are integrated up into the vents. It looks so trick it almost makes you want to use them. The carbon fiber bits are a nice touch, nd the flush bar ends are minimal and clean. The Kurveygirl Dzus kit looks cool and makes it much quicker to remove the fairings for maintenance or cleaning. Finally, n integrated battery tender makes it simple to keep your battery topped off while you're not riding.
The bike is located in Gowanus, rooklyn, block from the 4th Ave / 9th Street Subway stations (garaged year-round). All scheduled maintenance has been done on the bike and fluid changes more often than scheduled.
