2005 Ducati Multistrada 1000 S

Black 2005 Ducati Multistrada 1000S for sale. The name Multistrada means "many roads" in Italian and the bike lives up to it. You can tour half the country with your wife on the back (with a padded back rest attached to the Givi top case!) including dirt fire roads, nd when you get to your destination you can take the luggage off and keep up with the fast guys at a track day. This bike really does everything very well. I have owned several Suzukis and Yamahas in the past and none of them were as good all-around as this Ducati.
I am the second owner and it has always been garage kept. It has 20,742 miles on it as of 8/1/15. It has a couple of minor scratches and some light rust on the oil pipes (as shown in the pictures) but overall it is in very good shape. Oil changed with Rotella and a K&N filter every 3k miles or 6 months (whichever came first) for as long as I've owned it. It has the following:
- Fully adjustable Ohlins suspension front & rear - standard on the S model
- Carbon fiber front fender and belt covers - standard on the S model
- Carbon fiber rear hugger
- Termignoni exhaust
- Ducati Performance ECU
- Famsa "Perfect Fit" tank bag
- Ducati Performance side cases
- Givi top case with mounting rack and padded back rest for your passenger
- AFAM 2 piece rear sprocket carrier, hich makes the next sprocket replacement $40 instead of $140!
- Aerostich heated grips
- Sidestand from a Hypermotard, hich is longer and angled better so that the bike stands up straighter and is less likely to fall over - a common problem with air cooled Multistradas
- Michelin Pilot Road 3s with about 3k miles on them
- Chain and sprockets have roughly 3k miles on them, ith chain lubed at 100 mile intervals
- Clutch was replaced at 16k miles
Maintenance performed in April 2015:
- Belts replaced
- Full valve adjustment (all within spec)
- Valve collets replaced with MBP retainers, hich extend the adjustment interval from 6,000 miles to 18,000
- New valve cover o-rings
- New NGK Iridium spark plugs
I will also include the following in the sale:
- Pit-Bull rear stand
- An extra front sprocket, 4 tooth (15 tooth is installed on the bike)
- The stock exhaust and ECU
