Gilera 124 5V 1972 (Sears) Ducati

124 cc, speed transmission. Manufactured by Gilera of Arcore Italy and sold by Sears. When I purchased the bike it did not have the Sears tank badges, rame tag or painted logo on the back of the seat. It may have been one of the last Gileras sold by Sears and was made out of remaining parts from the Sears bins at the Gilera factory. The bike was parked in the previous owner's garage with 7 miles on the odometer after suffering an electrical meltdown in the headlight shell. Engine rebuilt with all new bearings and seals. New cylinder and piston (the last ones on the shelf) from DomiRacer. Other parts from DomiRacer as required. Crank rebuilt and balanced by Mr. Crankshaft. Second engine acquired for needed parts. Unused parts included with sale. Engine stand included. All new wiring. Wheels powdered coated by Brit Tech with new nipples and restored spokes. New tubes and tires. New chain, riginal sprocket as new. Original brakes as new. All painting done by Steve D' Angelo. All aluminum parts polished. Shop manual, arts book and owner's manual included. Photo record of rebuild and all receipts included. Moto Giro eligible. Sold on transferable New York State registration as NYS did not issue titles on bikes built before 1973. I can store bike at no charge until spring if needed. Can help with loading. I will deliver the bike to you (after payment) within 100 miles of Hudson NY at no charge.
