I bought this FXDWG from a fella in Florida whose wife had a good friend whose husband was killed in a motorcycle wreck. She made him sell it back to the dealer where he bought it. no if's. ands or but's. So I bought it from the dealer. I had a FXDWG many years back and rode all over the country with it. I put 45. 00 miles on it. I had the motorcycle shipped back to me here in Kansas City in the dead of winter. It was 12 degrees when delivered to my house. I spent the rest of the winter in my heated garage adding accessories and when spring finally arrived. I discovered I had made a bad mistake. I'm now 75 years old and don't have the strength or balance I had back in my earlier years. To put it bluntly. I don't feel I can ride it safely and am uncomfortable riding it in traffic. If it ever fell over at a stop sign I would have to put a for sale sign on it where it lays in the street. as I wouldn't be able to pick it up. The previous owner added Carlini handlebars and a complete Python exhaust system. I added: Boss removable saddlebags and a rear trunk. I keep my helmut in the trunk. Google Boss motorcycle bags and check out # 31D saddlebags and # 66D trunk bag. $1375 total. I added Michlin Commander ll tires. $425 mounted. I had installed chrome fork sliders. $535 installed. I installed a chrome fork brace. $259I chromed out all of the bolt heads and nut heads. I installed a removable Clearview windshield. $240I have a heavy duty J&S motorcycle jack made specifically fotr the FXDWG that I won't need any more. Check out the J&S motorcycle lift web site. Around $450. I spent approximately $3. 00 in accessories and now afraid to ride it in traffic. Now about the bike. It is absolutely perfect with no scratches. cuffs. dents. etc. never been down and kept in a heated garage. The paint is like new. It's night black with all chrome accessories (old school). It runs perfect and sounds great. It also has a security system and I have both key fobs. (It won't start without the key fob within 3 feet of the bike). I'm not messing around with an auction. reserve price crap. etc. I will sell this perfect machine for $11. 00. I live in Kansas City and if you buy it and ride it home. I will pick you up at the airport. I will only accept cash or a cashiers check (wait 10 business days for it to clear). If you come by to look at it and want to ride it. give me $11. 00 cash and if you decide not to take it I will give you your cash back. if returned to my house as perfect as when it left. If it's wrecked or dropped. etc. consider it sold. Of course it has a six speed transmission. $500 through paypal (non-refundable. if you back out)) within three days of buying it. This is a great machine and worth my asking price.
