1951 Harley Davidson Hydra Glide Panhead Virgin Restoration

Current issues have forced me to sell my prized and cherished 38 year project. (Baby on the way). This is a nice one. Every effort has been taken in this restoration. No short cuts. This bike has zero miles on a total ground up restoration and it is 98 percent complete. Here are the details: I purchased this motorcycle in 1977. It was missing a few original parts. Through the years. nbsp;I have painstakingly sought correct parts to bring this bike back to its original condition. I had the motor and transmission rebuilt by the best. Dean @ Precious Metal Charlotte. N. C. who at the time had 35 years experience with Harley Davidson service & repair. What it lacks to be a total running ground up restoration. completely original is: A battery; wiring the headlight to it's switch; 3 or 4 emblem screws; a rear chain; hook up the fuel line (and add gas of course); install the air filter; adjust carb & brakes. that's it! Reproduction parts consist of: exhaust. coil. rims. seat. kick stand. new rear sprocket. new primary assembly. brake pads and spect correct bolts. forks completely rebuilt using progressive fork kit springs etc. The original uncut frame was taken to Lynchburg Va. & trued on a frame table from the old HD Milwaukee factory. It's perfect. ) tanks. tank emblems. fenders. headlight. toolbox. oil filter assembly. speedo. seatpost. forks. hubs. fork sheet metal. running boards. oil tank. tail light. handlebars with throttle.
