1985 Harley Davidson Ironhead Bobber Motorcycle Bar Hopper

I have a 1885 Harley Davidson Ironhead bobber. Bike has 84 ironhead jugs but the bottom end is an 85 evo. frame and title are 85 as well. This combo is rare and is excellent together. This bike turns heads all over town great running bike. I bought the bike a little over a year ago not running. I fixed it up and rode it all last summer and part of the fall bike does awesome around town. Bike is very capable of highway speeds but my suggestion if someone wanted to have it as a highway bike would be to change out the rear sprocket just to get a little lower rpms at 70. I am selling this bike as a "project bike" which I hate to do but when I started the bike a month ago the float was stuck in the carb so after the gas is turned on it starts to leak out of the overflow tube. This is an extremely easy fix you can find brand new carbs for $50-$500 depending on how high you want to go. Before I decided to sell the bike I was planning on putting a S&S carb on it. The other things I was planning on doing was re-wiring the bike the owner before me didn't really do a "clean" job of the wiring everything electrical works great I was just going to do it in order to make the bike look a little better. I also was planning on replacing the handle bars. the bars on the bike now work and look great but if you look closely they are a tad uneven. all these things that I was planning on doing to the bike were just to make it more detailed out. This bike in the condition as it sits is still an amazing bike. The bike does start up and run great the only thing keeping you from riding it down the street is the carb overflows and floods itself (new carb or rebuilding this one fixes that. ) The other things were just small projects for me to tinker on. just trying giving the future buyer a real picture of the bike it isn't perfect but what 85 vehicle is? Bike is extremely reliable starts every time will make somebody a great bike. I will put a S&S carb on the bike for the buy it now price.
