Thanks for taking a look at my motorcycle. I appreciate it. I am parting with my 200 Buell X1 Lightning motorcycle. This bike has been good to me but I am hanging up my helmet. Bike runs great and as you can see has little over 8000 miles and is super clean. All fairings are yellow in color including tank cover. front fender and the wind screen. They look great and show little wear. There are really no chips to mention. Tank decals are raised and perfect. Tube frame is a deep blue that almost looks purple. Wheels match the frame as seen. There are really no chips or scratches on the frame or wheels to note. Frame and wheels look excellent and vibrant. Engine is very clean and super powerful. Casing in black look almost like new as seen. All silver covers on the lower look great too. Tires are almost brand new. Drive belt looks like new as well. I put brand new brake pads on the bike last year. The ones on it were good but I like to keep everything in check. Seat is a Buell custom seat with the yellow beading to match the bike color. The rear tail section is great. I stripped it down last year and polished it but I did not like it so I repainted it and it looks like new. So now for some of the upgrades/changes that I have made to the cycle. from top to bottom and front to back. I changed the handgrips and put on bar end mirrors. I applied a Buell factory tank bra. I removed the stock air boxes and replaced with the low profile tank covers. They are carbon fiber but I covered them with black shrink body wrap. Wrap can be removed to expose the carbon if you like that look. I put on a custom chrome air cleaner as seen. I needed to add the breather and routed the drain to the opposite side of the bike and made a NOS catch/drain can which looks awesome. Everyone thinks the bike has nitrous(it really doesn't). I changed the factory horn and put the chrome one that you see. I wrapped the pipes in black as seen. There is nothing wrong with them underneath. they look real good. I just like the look of the wrap. I replaced all of the footpegs. both driver and passenger with silver aluminum pegs. They grip your feet well. The bike has a Vance and Hines slip on that was on the bike when I got it. It sounds freaking awesome and looks good too. There is a race module on the bike that was on it when I bought it. I removed the rear hugger too. I removed the rear fender which hung low and covered the tire. I like the open/high tail look and accomplished that. I custom made a undertail section so that the inners under the seat and everything would would stay celan and safe from debris. I removed the lower face fairing that covers the shock and muffler. There is nothing wrong with the lower fairing. Again. I just like the open look. Original owners manual is present and it has been well cared for too. All gauges. switches. buttons. lights. signals. lever. etc operate as they should. Most all parts. pieces that I removed are in a box in my garage and you will get them too. I really can't think of anything else to mention about the customization of this bike but will update if anything comes to mind. I really hate to sell the cycle but it is time for me. The bike rides real nice and turns head due to the condition. looks and sound. Wheel base is short so it handles great. It is well balanced too. Oh yeah. I wash this bike after every ride and as you can see. I clean the casings with a soft toothbrush and cleaner to kepp like new. Take note of the swing arm. I scrub it with a toothbrush and aluminum cleaner after every ride as well and it looks like a brand new one. If you note in one of the pics. there is a pic of the lower and the garage floor. After a good day of riding. you will find a small oil spot on the garage floor. It will lose a few drops after it has been ridden for a while as you can see. that is just the way it is. it is a Harley. My 1974 Iron head did this. My 1986 Sportster did it as well and so did my 1994 Softtail. I think most all Harleys do that. I have come to accept that. It has never been an issue to me. I encourage anyone to come over and take the cycle for a ride or personally inspect it. I think you will be impressed. I also encourage you to ask any particular questions or if you would like any additional or detailed pics of any part of the bike. I have nothing to hide on this one. Sorry to be so long winded on this one but I really love this bike and could go on and on. Cycle has never been wrecked or laid down. Thanks again! Good luck and happy bidding!
