To accomplish this. Harley-Davidson gave this bike a lower suspension. Touring chassis. rigid backbone frame. and a stout swing arm made to withstand the demands of long-haul touring riders and the powerful bike engines of today. The 2013 Harley-Davidson Street Glide features a single-spar chassis. a frame with a firm backbone. and a sturdy swingarm to absorb the rough road endured during long rides. To further improve the ride. air-adjustable rear shocks. full-length rider foot boards. and a six-gallon fuel tank were added to allow the bike to go the distance.
