So much so that The Hickory Flat Hot Rod caught the attention of Willie G at the 2012 Harley-Davidson Ride-In Show during Daytona Bike Week. "When I was pulling up to register. Willie G made a beeline to my bike. Freddie says. "I don't like to brag on this too much. but we talked for 15 minutes. and he wanted his photo taken with my bike. That wasn't a problem at all. " (See second picture from the end. )Every part of the bike was either completely rebuilt or installed new by Freddie Arnold. It can be reversed to standard. As listed in the Drive Train section. nbsp;the lever on the primary engages the manual starter solenoid. Or you can kick start it. This bike has points. Freddie Arnold wanted to use a Panhead-style coil and they won’t work with electronic ignition. Plus. he never has an issue with points. Like all Shovelheads. oil comes out the breather hose off the oil pump. It's the way old motors are designed. Not a lot but didn’t want you to freak out if you never owned a Shovel or Panhead.
