Street Legal Harley Sportster Drag Bike

I have a 1985 Sportster with a Buell engine. Dyno tuned for the street. Its set up for raisin hell on the weekends on the track or an everyday rider. The engine has been fully built and tuned with a little over 1000 miles on it. This bike is currently running a Buell S1W front end modified so it will accept standard risers and bars and has a Ness fairing mounted to it. The front rotor is warped but still works well. The engine is from a 2001 X1 with ported/polished and decked heads from a 1998 S1W flat top pistons Andrews N6 cams Screaming Eagle selectable curve ignition module SE high output coil Knology plug wires and SE 10R6 plugs. It has a Mikuni 42mm flatslide carb and SE heavy breather intake. Exhaust is handled by an RB Racing LSR 2:1 pipe that I shortened. Imodified the baffle for the shorter pipe to maintain street drivability. It can be removed for peak horsepower at the strip. Power is sent to the rear by a 530 chain. The rear wheel is from a 2000 sportster so it has the sealed wheel bearings. Tires are Avon for excellent grip at the track or hammering corners. Tach only no speedo! This bike meets the minimum requirements to be street legal in Alabama. You may want to check the requirements in your state.
This bike is perfect for someone looking to get into drag racing with a budget and also has room for other mods if your looking for a pure drag bike. But this isdefinitelyNOT a beginners bike.No test rides.
