Greetings from South Florida Custom Harley Davidson fans, t's Jim Mahan here from Treasure Coast Harley Davidson, resenting a very special Motorcycle that could very simply be right out of the movie " Mad Max, he Road Warrior". The Story...........Much like in New England (where I hail from) the Motorcycle business experiences seasonality in South Florida. In New England, old weather, ce, leet and blizzards park the Motorcycles for a period of time until that Spring thaw returns the sounds of V Twins to the roads. Now, ertainly the weather is not as extreme as a Nor'easter down here in Florida (sorry for the winter of 2014 all) but, rutally hot weather, he rainy season as well as Hurricane season will park our bikes for a time. What does Treasure Coast Harley Davidson do when we slow down a bit and have available hours in our Service Department ? We build the "Road Warrior" !!! This project started with a cherry 2001 Harley Davidson FLTRSE12 CVO Road Glide from our selection of fantastic Pre-Owned Motorcycles. From there we took a couple years, hen hours in the shop became available and I let my Certified Technicians have at it. Here is a breakdown on this very special Motorcycle.
Motorcycle was stripped to the frame and sent to my friend renowned Custom Motorcycle builder Eddie Trotta for proper rake, eck work and refinishing at Thunder Cycles.

Frame - Raked / Stretched / Refinished for 26" Wheel fitment atThunder Cycles complete with HHI 9 Degree Billet Triple Trees.
Suspension- Progressive Suspension Complete Cartridge Front end kit installed in HHI Single sided Bomber Legs / Progressive Suspension Contrast Cut Billet Adjustable 430 Rear Shocks. Fat Baggers Inc. 200mm Rear Tire / Swingarm ( Chrome )/ Axle / Primary Spacer kit.
Wheels/ Tires / Brakes - Performance Machine Racine Platinum Cut Wheel Set with Matching Rotors (13" Front Single Sided) 26" Front, 8" Rear, von Venom 200/55/18, ee Rubber 120/50/26. Performance MachineChrome 4 Piston Rear Caliper with Billet Chrome Mounting Bracket, erformance Machine Black 6 Piston Front Caliper.
Bodywork- Bad Dad Stretched Saddlebags w/ surface mount LED Cat Eye Lights and Harley Davidson Edge Cut Latches / Bad Dad Overlay Rear Fender with 200mm Support Mount. Sinister Industries "Hot Rod" Lids / Sinister Industries Extended Side Covers. RWD Extended/ Stretched Steel Fuel Tank custom plumbed for Carbureted application / Custom RWD Center Console. Foot Controls / Hand Controls/ Handlebars / Cables - Complete Harley Davidson Edge Cut Collection. Passenger Pegs / Shift Pegs / Floorboard Inserts / Grips/ Levers/ Shifter Arms / Billet Brake Arm. Harley Davidson Chrome Master Cylinders Front and Rear / HD Chrome Switch Housings. Paul Yaffe 14" 1.25 Monkey Bars / Barnett Black Stainless Cables / Brake Lines.
Performance / Drivetrain - S & S Twin Cam 124 Polished. When a S & S Motor is ordered polished there is plenty more polishing that can be done ( Between Fins, ylinder bases etc....) so the motor was completely disassembled and sent to David Bell in NH for his special treatment of true show polishing, his includes the entire Transmission case. This Brand New S & S Twin Cam 124 was balanced with blower pistons, eassembled with all new bearings, askets and seals. Outer Covers were power coated to pick up on that edge cut theme. Mikuni 48mm Modified Carburetor, omplete Polished / powder coated Pro Charger Super Charger with Inter Cooler. Daytona Twin Tec Programmable Ignition, IM Products Pro Charger Clutch Kit with Variable Pressure Plate, omplete Bullet Proof 5 Speed (Drag Racers know this is "The Trans to use") Rebuild using only the finest Baker Drivetrain Components including Compensator and Primary Upgrades. Paul Yaffe Phantom Exhaust Pipe Modified and Ceramic Coated. Harley Davidson Oil Cooler, arley Davidson High Torque Chrome Starter, rimo Rivera Ring Gear kit, lternator and Stator upgrade, E Plug Wires, hrome Inner Primary Kit, tainless Steel Hardware throughout the entire build, ew Main Wiring Harness, rive belt, ou name it it's fresh.
Audio / Gauges - Sony BluetoothHigh Powered Xplod with Hawg Wired 300 Watt Amplifier / 6.5" Speakers, awg Wired Universal Hand Control kit that allows normal Harley Davidson control button operation. Dakota Digital Gauge Set trimmed with Battistinis Contrast Cut Bezel Kit.
