Super nice Harley Sportster. I've spent countless hours modifying and making this a better bike. If you like the rough, aw, ritty feel of a true Harley then this bike is for you.
Modifications:
Engine:
Hammer Performance 1250 kit
Diamond grind finned Jugs
HP 3568 10.5:1 pistons
Cylinders honed and pistons fit (rings gapped/assembled by Hammer Performance)
Cometic gasket set
XL 560 Impact Hammer Perf Cam Set
Bronze oil pump gear
medium diaphragm clutch spring
1200 Sportster heads (purchased new)
Bike is a tad under 100rwhp. With new 30deg pistons and some head work, 00+ is easy achievable and quite scary on a Sportster.
custom Crankcase vent:
HD made the worst decision to vent through the heads. It causes oil issues as the crankcase pressure moving up and down the rod tubes affects the oil lubrication. Lot's of folks see oil blow out of the air cleaner.
I went back to the "good ole days" and added a crankcase vent behind the oil filter on the cam cover. I ran copper heavy pipe to a ETCC Crank case breather (et-performance.com)
Suspension:
Rear: Bitchin Baggers modified Road King shocks. These were originally 12.75" and I had them cut down 2.5" to 10.25". These are fitted with a single point filler schrader valve for filling. They ride great.
Front: is a 2" Drop In Progressive Spring pack.
Wheels:
Front: is the 19x.2.15 spoke Nightster wheel
Rear: 17x4.5 Street Bob spoke wheel (fitted with a 180/55-17R Shinko Raven009)
A/C: Custom mounted 5" circular A/C w. K&N filter
Handlebars:
16" internally wired Z-bars (some folks call them apes, ut they're not)
Exhaust: Martin Bros Blunts (no chrome!, ainted with ceramic black exhaust paint and wrapped in Thermo-Tec copper exhaust wrap.
Tuner:
Dynojet Power Vision PV1
Battery: brand new
Seat:
Custom made with copper accented tanning alligator leather seat from Carrie Grabbe of MotherRoadCustoms. Rides on 3" black springs.
The under tank plastics were removed, ank lifted 1.5-2", oil and ignition relocated. The bracket I made for the ignition coil relocation broke, ou will need to fab or buy (ewww) a new one (it's currently zip tied as you can see in pics), t's not going anywhere.
The rear fender/strut area has been heavily modified to fit the larger wheel/tire and is designed solely for solo riding (no 2up). 530 heavy duty chain conversion done also. I still have the belt drives if you want to switch back.
This bike was built part rat, art "new school" bobber. I hate using the bobber term since it really doesn't fit this day in age, ut nevertheless, hat's how most in the public refer to it. It does have real and painted copper accents.
This bike draws a lot of attention. Most don't even recognize it as a Sportster, hich is quite funny when you let the cat out of the bag to those that have the odd distaste for it.
Shipping will be responsibility of purchaser but I will help out any way I can within reason.
Payment of $500 will be due at auction close by Paypal, he rest is to be paid with cash or bank certified check. You will not get the bike until ALL funding is clear.
Please ask any and all questions BEFORE you offer or purchase. You must communicate through eBay initially, will give my mobile number to any serious buyers. I can provide videos, ive Facetime, tc.
