1987 883Sportster converted to a custom 1200. No front fender, irectional lights, ndicator lights, arker lights or horn but all mounting points, ires and switches are all still there if you wanted to put them on. You will need this to drive on the street in most areas but I felt it slowed it down so "up to you". All other equipment works great. Less than100 miles since overhaul on everything new or reconditioned. She will need the oil and filter changed at 500 miles. She is not cosmetically perfect but from 5 feet apears to be with some touch ups on the factory black frame and handlebars. Cases and covers cleaned and polished but not perfect. You could chrome them or black them out or they do look good at 5 feet. Look close at the photos and you will see it it quite a looker Sold as is with no warranty, uarantee or any "T" expressed, mplied or otherwise stated. Reserve is what I have into it minus labor (hoping to make enough to pay for that). She has: New wider 150 rear Metzler and wider than stock Metzler front. New custom pushrod tubes, ew rocker boxes, pgraded to CV carb jetted 180/48/.030. New air cleaner and bracket, ebuilt 1200 heads, ew cylinders so now a true 1200 standard bore and compression. New pistons and rings, he engine and transmission were completely dissassembled, leaned, nd reconditioned to HD specifications (some new parts such as gears, hafts and bearings replaced where needed). All new gaskets and seals. Custom fender, ustom olive green pain, ew chain and sprockets with 150 wide tire kit and 883 gearing, ew oil lines, -3/4 open drag pipes mid length with fiberglass wrap for added ultra coolness. New Maltese mirrors for a slight hippy effect. New custom color Biltwell grips. Lepera seat. Screaming Eagle wires. HD oil. I literally bought this bike less than a week ago from the gentleman that did all the work on it. I am being deployed and didn't want to go back on the deal with him so my hardship could be your gain. I'm just looking to get the same as what I paid for it. The bike had 10 miles on it when I got it and I rode it90 miles total. It runs great with plenty of power and great sounding pipes. I really do wish I could keep it. The guy I bought it from also told me that he kinda gave it a capt. America look like the 1942 warboy.
