This motorcycle was purchased new in 05/1986 by Forbes Inc and was ridden by the media magnate, alcolm Forbes. Participating in the Friendship tours, his motorcycle has been around the world, ith published photographs showing the motorcycle in Japan and in Germany.(Documentation includes copy of original purchase receipt)
After purchasing this motorcycle in 2007, completed a full restoration starting in 2009 and completed in 2010.
Engine rebuilt in March 2009 by a local Harley-Davidson dealer (not a factory rebuild) at 51070 milesNew crank, onnecting rods and PistonsScreaming Eagles heads with electronic compression releaseNew cylindersAndrews EV 27 camAdjustable pushrodsLiftersAll oil lines replacedS&S shorty E carburetor

The condition of the bike can be described as Very Good and presents extremely well. The paint does have normal wear for 5 years old and 20,000 miles.
Current Condition:Front tire was replaced at 72913 milesRear tire replaced at 76460 milesNew Battery Sept 2014 - 79148 milesFresh oil in Transmission, rimary and engine at 79377 milesExhaust: Rush slip ons with FulSac True Dual ConversionHowards Hog Air HornsAir Wing Tour pack rack with smoked brake / running lightsHarley-Davidson saddlebag andtourpack liners
Other issues:Oil is seeping from both rocker covers.There is a voltage leak when the bike ignition is turned off. I do have a battery isolation switch installed to disconnect when not in use.All chrome work is original and does have normal scratches.Both right hand side crash bars (front and rear) do have a heavy scratch that was incurred when the bike was dropped in the early 90'sUnpainted repair on thetour pack lid where the catches for the latches mount
