The styling of the V-Rod™ motorcycle is pure custom, nspired by long, ow drag bikes. It combines two of our finest traditions - the V-Twin engine and Harley-Davidson racing, hich has led us to the new, 15hp Revolution™ engine. The V-Rod™ is a new kind of production motorcycle. A mix of high performance and custom styling. It's a theme that runs all the way to the steel bone of the V-Rod™ frame. With many technological and styling breakthroughs, he V-Rod™ motorcycle and the Revolution® engine establish a new benchmark in motorcycling.
VRSCA V-RodModel years: 2002–2006. The original V-Rod had a 1,130 cubic centimeters (69cuin) Revolution Engine, roducing a claimed 115 horsepower (86kW) at the crank. The V-Rod had 49mm forks and a 180mm rear tire, ith solid disc wheels. The VRSCAs were all factory equipped with 3.7 US gallons (14l; 3.1impgal) fuel tanks. In 2006 the VRSCA was equipped with Brembo Brakes. The VRSCA was only offered with forward controls. 2003 models were included in the 100th anniversary edition.
