1998 Harley Davidson Road King Police motorcycle

Up for Auction is my 1998 Road King Police model. This bike started its life with the Melbourne, lorida Police Dept. The second owner was a former president of ABATE. I am the third owner. The bike has been maintained by knowledgeable people. I use Mobile 1 only. The air cleaner is a K&N. The drive belt was replaced about 6 months ago and has about 200 miles on it. The primary chain was replaced at the same time. The handlebars are fat barape hangers. They are not super high as you can see from the pictures. This was done about 6 months ago as well along with clutch, hrottle, dle and brake cables toaccommodate the length. The bike runs strong. Last long ride I did about two months ago, t was up to 95mph. If you want to know if it goes faster, ou will have to find out for yourself. The bike has never been down. The saddlebag seals are new. The Corbin seat has a few rough spots and I took pictures of that. It is serviceable. The paint is good with a few small chips. All exterior references to a police model have been removed. There is no radio. The foot shift lever is new and the splines that go inside are new. I also put new mufflers on, hich are louder than stock, ut not obnoxious. They are HD mufflers modified that I got offeBay and they work well. The bike starts right up and idles down well. It has become painful for me to ride anymore, o I am selling it to someone who will ride it. Thanks for looking.
