History of Thunder Mountain
Thunder Mountain Custom Cycles are production motorcycles that were sold by Harley Davidson dealers and the only manufacturer sanctioned by Harley Davidson Corp to use authentic HD components in the build. TMCC was also warranted and serviced by HD dealers. The bike is 100% Harley Davidson right down to the wiring harness, ith the exception of the frame which is an exclusive Thunder Mountain product and has a TMCC VIV#. The frame is identical to HD with the only difference being a 35% head rake vs the HD springer frame of 32.5%. This does give a slightly raked "look" to the bike and it improves steering and handling.
