1975 Harley Davidson HD Sportster Rigid Chopper W/ Girder Old Style Chopper

1975 Harley DavidsonSportster Chopper- A cool chopper from a recent build. Many new parts, ncluding practically all fasteners either inchrome or stainless. I believe that the frame is an older Paughco and possibly the girder front end as well. Runs well and starts instantly. I've never had any bike start as well as this one, ossibly due to the combination of the Ultima ignition and the Mikuni carb. The BEST part of all this is that it has ELECTRIC START! The transmission was recently gone throughin January of this year (2015)to the tune of around $850 and it has practically zero miles on it since the rebuild. I have the invoice for the work done, picture has been added of the invoice. The paint is actually a hydro-dip process and the name of the skull pattern is called "Reaper". The frame is freshly powder coated in metallic black. New pin striping by the fabulous Fat Daddy of North Canton, hio. The striping is on the tank, ear fender and a polished stainless primary cover insert. Oil pressure gauges at the oil pump and rear cylinder rocker box. I have added an adjustment for the front brake. The girder has dual shocks, hich are adjustable for spring pressure and dampening. The kill switch is an inexpensive generic unit. Oil temperature gauge in oil tank. Due to fact of no speedo, ileage is approximate and taken off of the owner's paperwork. The engine number matches the number on the paperwork.

The new parts: 32" wide drag bars; rear tire; throttle cable; chrome throttle housing; hand grips; front brake perch and lever; chrome rear brake backing plate; battery; air cleaner; fuel line and filter; Spitfire Hi N Tight pipes, aint & striping

The recent parts: Chain looks almost new, ltima ignition and coil; rear view mirror.

The long and short of it is that I have too many bikes and not enough garage space. This thing is ultra cool and literally draws comments no matter where it goes. It's a hip, ld style chopper and therefore all of the benefits of that go with it. No turn signals (gotta use your hand signals), o horn (although wouldn't be too difficult to install), o tach or speedo. BUT- as previously mentioned it possesses ELECTRIC START!Not much needs attention,but as alwaysare some things that the new owner will want to change. As the saying goes: my loss, our gain. I will store this bike for up to 2 weeks but balance must be paid for within 7 days after auction end unless other arrangements have been made.
