must sell:
Harley Davidson 2008 FLHR RoadKing
96" engine / 6 speed Trans. 28,500 miles
This is a two tone factory paint ( White/Gold )
Mechanically this Road King is perfect.
Starts easy, uns strong and smooth and NO leaks.
I've added about $2500 in extras as described below.
There are a few cosmetic flaws. The front fender
has a small ding down low in the front and
there's a small chip in the paint on the primary side
just below the edge of the seat.
The bike is stage one = done at Carson Harley Davidson
featuring a Thunder Header Exhaust, &N high flow air
filter and the fuel injection software was updated. ($1100)
The seat is a Mustang Touring seat( $450 ) and it is "comfortable "
and looks good on the bike. Saddle bag black lid covers.
The bars are Fat Ape Hangers (18" ?)($900) and braided stainless
lines. The tires are Pirelli Night Dragons and have about 2K
miles on them so they are still excellent. I have a quick
detachable passenger back rest and windshield. The back
rest is mint and the windshield is good but does have some
scratches.
This bike has the factory cruise control and it's
a cool feature for longer road trips. The battery is about a
year old and always on a Battery Tender Jr. which comes
with the bike. I also have a H-D owners manual and two
sets of keys & security bobs/transmitters.
With the passenger rest and the windshield removed the
bike has a real nice look and in a instant you can put them
back on and have a very comfortable touring bike.
This bike needs NOTHING!! Runs perfect and it's ready
to go. It's been serviced regularly.
I'm selling it because I need the money and my wife
has Fibromyalgia and we just don't ride it much these days.
I'm still paying payments to Harley Davidson Financial
and owe $6500 on that loan. They are easy to deal
with and they have the title showing them as lien holder and
me as owner.
This bike is being sold as is and where is. No warranty is
given or implied. The bike is in Dayton Nevada, hich is
just outside Carson City.
IF you are too far away to come pick it up "you" can hire
a shipper and I will work with your shipping agent to
get the bike to you as smoothly as possible but the
shipping is up to you to obtain. I bought this bike off
Ebay from a dealership in Texas (Barnett's) and they
delivered it to my door. Cost in my case was about
$800 just to give an idea of shipping costs. Your costs
could be less or more depending on where you are and
the shipper you use.
You won't find a RoadKing in this condition, eady to go
at such a resonable reserve price.
IF you have any questions, lease feel free to ask me
before making a bid. I've tried to be as honest as I can
on the condition and description but if you need more
photos etc. let me know. Blue Book on this bike is
just under $11,000.00 and my reserve price is way
below that.
See my feedback and bid with confidence.
The winner of this auction will have to give me
a $500 deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of the
close of this auction and the rest of the payment
we can work out with Harley Davidson Financial.
