You are bidding on a Harley Davidson 1930 Model C. This is a very rare vintage and model. Not to be confused with the single cylinder Model B which was the 350cc domestic bike that year. The Model C is a larger 500cc single cylinder engine and has the same full sized frame as the Model A twin cylinder motorcycle made that year. The 1930 model C was made in very limited production numbers (only 1,629 units) due to the depression era and was made for export. Being a pre- WWII bike, ost of these did not survive the war and it is extremely rare to find one fully intact and operational with mostly original equipment. Even more rare to find one that has been re-imported to the United States. Some estimates are that there are less than 100 of these bikes in existence today and many of these have been assembled from random parts. This bike was found in a museum in New Zealand and re-imported to the US and is 100% functionally restored. The engine has been rebuilt and has good compression. The bike starts, perates & runs well. All components are completely functional including brakes, ransmission, uel delivery to include the Wheeler Schebler Model G GX4 carb, lectrical, amp; lighting. The engine, ngine accessories, ransmission, rame, ins, heels, eadlights, arburetor, amp;handle bars are all original vintage equipment. Some replica items have been added to finish the bike. An excellent museum bike for the rare collection or the guy looking for the bike that no one else has. Bidders are responsible for all freight from the point of sale.
