1959 Harley Davidson FL Panhead

1959 Harley Davidson FL. This FL panhead is in great shape. The case numbers are matching. (1 59 31xx) The panhead engine is one of the best looking Harley engine designs and this one is beautiful. It is an older restoration of unknown origin, ut the paint is great. The fuel tanks appear to be original and have been sealed. The sealant is holding up but is showing some age. I took this bike for a short ride the day before listing. It idles nicely, hifts good, lutch and brakes work as to be expected for a 1959 Harley. The clutch lever does require some effort but works fine. It has the usual vintage Harley oil leak, rom the primary, ut no more than usual. I just sonic cleaned the Linkert Model M carb, ew fuel line,replaced the plug wires, lugs, hecked timing and points, nd installed a new Harley 6 volt battery.The speedometer was replaced and shows about 50 miles.
