2006 Harley Davidson Wide Glide FXDWGI Twin Cam 88. 6 speed. Injected !!! FAST and SMOOTH !!! I repainted the bike last year in a Charcoal Metallic Pearl. and had custom decals made that are gold swirl w/ blue outlining. The bike was in an accident late in 2010. apparently a new rider (still had the dealers paper tag on the back) I replaced the front end with a 41mm from a Nightrain. and used the factory unit on my Super Glide. You have a nice wide 160/70/17 in the rear and a 21 in the front. (Factory sizes)I stripped the bike down to the frame so that I could clean and detail everything while I was painting the sheet metal. I went overboard changing and adding parts to make her the super clean ride she is today. The list is long. New Battery. New Custom frontend w/ billet trees. New front fender. smoked turn signals. smoked tail light. 1 3/4" rear lowering kit. stainless front brake line. nbsp;ribbed skull grips. ribbed foot pegs. added mid mounted foot pegs for range of rider's leg movement. NEW seat. paint/decals. Screamin' Eagle exhaust. fresh fluids. BLUE lights to highlight the Black and CHROME motor. Chubby handlebars. Chrome Forward Controls. The way that I have her set up is good for someone with a bad back. or the tall or shorter rider. I'm 6'2" with a bad back. and she fits/rides great. The bike pulls strong and smooth and rides like a dream. I can set the cruise and remove my hands from the grips and she tracks straight and true. She attracts attention where ever she goes. It's funny to see grown men standing around her silently staring trying to figure out what's been changed. nbsp;and the Ladies like her too. So if you don't like attention. don't get this bike. She's just a really clean little Wide Glide that I took my time with. You can ride her anywhere w/o worries of breaking down and the shop having to wait DAYS for special parts. I'm only selling her because I'm addicted to building . and somebody's got to go so I can finish another. Daytona and other rallies are coming soon. This is a CLEAN ride that stands out among stockers and customs alike. EVERYONE that sees her really likes her. Don't be scared by the salvage title. it actually takes VERY LITTLE for the Insurance company to write off a bike. MUCH less than a car. They figure each and every little bolt and labor to change it. Then they write it off. you get a check to buy another new bike. and everybody has a job. I had a friend whose NEW Fat Boy was totaled because someone keyed his paint and cut the seat !!!There are several Insurance companies that now give FULL COVERAGE REPLACEMENT VALUE on Salvage Title vehicles. I've used Progressive. Gainsco. 21st Century. Foremost. all with great rates. FREE! Sellers: Add a FREE map to your listings. FREE!
