Beautiful Cherry Red 2004 HD Dyna Custom Motivated seller. must sell. Price drop from $14. 95!!I'm in Daytona. Pick it up during Bike Week next weekend! ****This bike rides and looks unbelievable and appears like showroom condition. **** Originally owned by a wealthy motorcycle collector who spared no expense to make this a very powerful street ride. This bike was rebuilt from the ground up by the Harley dealer at the time of original bike purchase in 2004. I bought this bike in 2010 from the original owner with 1374 miles on it. rode it a few times that year and has been in my garage. pristine. for 4 years due to back trouble I now have. It now has 1766 miles. Recently cleaned the dust and polished the chrome. Starts and runs fine. Has lumpy idle this engine is known for. Runs like a scalded hog when warmed up. At time of prior owner purchase. Harley dealer installed the HD/Jims Racing 120" engine. 6 speed HD transmission and all other parts. AND did the tuning and dyno testing (see receipts attached). Tons of chrome adds by prior owner. See list below I have not touched this bike except to swap the air cover to give more leg clearance. Everything else is as perfect and original as when I bought it. This is a complete package built and tuned by an authorized Harley dealer. See invoices for engine/tranny install and dyno. I do not have invoices for all the other adds but they were done by the dealer as well according to the prior owner. Detail on build up: Jims Racing 120" V Twin Engine (Built by Jims Racing but designed by HD - hence the "Screamin Eagle" name on the cylinders). These engines are purchased and invoiced through Harley Davidson. 121 Horsepower @ rear wheel on dyno (137hp@crank) 129 lb-ft Torque @ rear wheel on dyno (146lb-ft@crank) Screamin Eagle 6 speed Race transmission 50mm Screamin Eagle Carburetor Screamin Eagle race ignition Racing Clutch and easy clutch spring (this is true. very easy shifting) Harley Davidson dealer custom engine tuning and dyno testing Engine has Compression Release buttons that must be depressed by hand before starting engine. Chrome foot pegs Every other chrome cover (every cover there is on this bike!) $15. 00 for stock bike $20. 00 in Jims Racing engine. HD Screamin Eagle Transmission and all other custom parts above $2500 Harley dealer labor to build and tune + more to install all other parts $38. 00+ to build this bike!! It is as perfect as the day I bought it. Race fuel not required. this engine is designed for premium street gas 93 octane. I've ridden motorcycles for 35 years and owned more than I can count. This is the fastest Harley I've ever ridden hands down. and so smooth doing it too. Hard to explain the experience but it vibrates your soul. It gets attention **everywhere** just from the engine sound. Instant smile maker just to hear it running! Therefore. this is for the **experienced rider only**. So what else is there to know? Probably needs a new battery. This battery is 4 yrs old and still does a reasonable job. I would recommend replacing with one of the new high energy Lithium Ion types for optimum running. Just got one of these for my Ducati and it just rips the motor to life. Note1: I will provide two air filter covers; round and oval. The one shown in the pics is the std oval type that came with the bike (classic look). I also have a chrome round version that fits in the same place to the air filter. This provides better leg clearance to the forward foot controls due to the wider motor. Note 2: I have had the question of how was this bike has been ridden. The prior owner was a wealthy older man who liked to build custom motorcycles. His desire was not a flashy ride but to create a sleeper Harley that would look relatively normal but run quick. He and his wife came to Bike Week here in Daytona five years ago. The man's wife didn't like the bike (too fast) and made her husband give it up before they left Daytona to go home. I bought it and rode it for a bit in 2010. then sporadically since then due to back trouble. It has never been raced. not even close. It has lived an easy life of periodic rides and startups to keep the engine clear and battery charged. Thats it. Its just a very cool high performance bike that has seen neighborhood roads about 20 miles at a time for many years. Have clear title. I'm in Daytona. Come pick it up during Bike Week next weekend!
