Description

Here we have a numbers matching 1972 Harley Davidson FLH with owners manual. A true Shovelhead with a fresh . 050 over bore. ported heads and Crane 296A cam. The S&S carburetor is tuned and jetted and she is a runner! Starts right up with kick or electric too! The frame has a new Harley vivid black powder coat finish and has never been in the rain. Is this bike perfect? NO! Ask Questions. There is a scratch on the rear of the front fender. drips a little oil like all shovels do and I never balanced the tires. This was not my everyday rider. but I would not hesitate to ride this thing across the country. It is however one of the most fun to ride bikes I have ever had. Very dependable old scoot with a knack for turning heads. Here is a list of the new: Voltage regulator. stator. wiring harness. front turn signals. rear tombstone. wheels. twisted spokes. chain. chain guard. battery. rear tire. handle bars. fork sliders. most engine fasteners. oil cooler. billet oil pump. all oil lines. wiesco . 050 pistons. engine bearings. cam bearings. rocker bushings. crane pushrods. pushrod tubes. cam. solid lifters. nbsp;all engine gaskets. primary chain. primary chain tensioner. valve springs. S&S air cleaner. ignition points (SMP Blue Streak). condenser. spark plugs. spark plug wires. nbsp;battery cover. rebuilt starter. clutch springs and I am sure I forgot a few things. Also the crank was trued up. The primary chain oiler is eliminated and the primary has been sealed. I use 1 qt Automatic Trans Fluid to keep the clutch and primary chain lubricated. The automatic rear chain oiler has been removed. The engine was broke in with 5 heat cycles on Valvoline VR1 sae 50. I ran the break in oil for 500 miles and changed it and then every 2500 miles after that. It is due for a change now and I have the Valvoline VR1 racing oil and filters to do it. The bike also has two oil filters on it. The OE in tank filter and a remote.
