Up for sale is a 1995 Harley Davidson FXDWG wide glide. Current mileage is 95565 and counting. I am for sure the 2nd owner. I don't know how many previous owners. I have owned the bike for aprox 6 months and do not know the previous repair or service history. I did have the cam cover gasket changed and lifter block gaskets changed because they were leaking. I had James gaskets installed so they would not leak again. The mechanic said my cam and lifters looked good. and did not need any attention at this time. The bike does have some other minor leaks that will drip a drop or two on the floor. I was told that was not unheard of for this old of a bike. I also had two new tires installed. new rear pads and a new clutch pack ( clutch was slipping on hard acceleration) and I bought a new seat due to the old one having tears in it. I ride the bike almost every day and it runs good and goes plenty fast on the freeway. Everything works on the bike. all lights. brakes. horn. fuel gauge. all bulbs. I'm selling it only because I want a newer harley. Overall the bike is in good condition and has plenty of miles left on it. A few things I have noticed. one. a small ding on tank near gauge. general scratches on paint in general ( nothing major) the front brake reservoir lower mounting tab (on handlebar. underneath switches) is cracked and looks like previous owner tried to repair with epoxy. It has not interfered with braking or seems any different. I didnt even notice it until I was cleaning under there one day. There are some areas with rust. but nothing really bad. It runs better on cold mornings when it is able to warm up for 4-5 min. Please ask questions before bidding. Thank you.
