IMMACULATE 2008 HD SPORTSTER XL1200C – CUSTOM NEW PAINT & POWER UPGRADES

IMMACULATE 2008 HARLEY DAVIDSON SPORTSTER CUSTOM XL1200C – 9. 66 MILES – BEAUTIFUL NEW CUSTOM PAINT – PHASE ONE POWER UPGRADE I bought this bike from its first owner in December 2013. It was ugly HD burnt orange and had some small paint chips and rust on the back of both fenders. The bike was stock when I purchased it and in otherwise excellent condition. I spent $1. 00 on a custom new paint job. The bike is now a unique and beautiful Lamborghini Pearl Yellow. with contrasting hand painted pin-stripes; a very bright and visual color that is not only beautiful but safe and very “noticed” by other drivers. if you google this color's name you will see that this is one "hot" color Lamborghini came up with. No. this is not some other version of "taxi cab yellow". I had a certified HD mechanic add a full HD Phase One Power upgrade. consisting of Screaming Eagle slash pipes (loud but not obnoxious). S. E. air intake and HD EFI kit. I also added a Memphis Shades fairing that enhances the paint color. an HD Mustache Engine Guard. HD adjustable heat grips and a couple of chrome enhancements to the seat and headlight. The end result is a uniquely beautiful motorcycle that is perfect. powerful and fast. The smaller frame Sportster is perfect for medium to smaller frame men and most women. This would be a perfect bike for "your lady" to have as she enjoys the freedom and excitement of riding “with you”. instead of the boring (for her) "two up" - behind you. When I bought the bike it had 8. 58 miles on the odometer. I have barely had a chance to ride it over the last 13 months. adding only 1. 08 miles. The odometer now reads 9. 66 miles. Thus the bike was ridden an average of 1424 miles per year over its life. Everything on this bike looks like it just came out of the HD dealership with the exception of some very mild “use” showing on the front struts (but these are hardly noticeable. as you can see from my pictures). Basically the bike looks and runs as if band new. The rubber is in excellent condition and has another 4000 miles on the tread. in my estimation. I keep this bike in my garage and under cover - always. I am “obsessive” about my bikes and they must always ride and look as if they were new. This partly explains why I would put substantial dollars into it when I bought it. The other reason is that I am a white collar professional of almost 68 years in age. and I had decided that this would be my last bike and wanted it to look and ride as new until riding was no longer an option. I estimated that to be another 10 years. But as plans often do. mine have changed and so my loss is your gain. My riding days are over and I am now selling this beauty . As of this posting. I have $8. 70 into the bike. The buyer will also get a high quality MC cover. a Battery Tender Jr. trickle charger and a very nice wheel block bike stand for this price.
