Description

1976 Hrley Sporster S&S Carb needs a battery and change the gas out on the tank was running currently not inspected. Mileage is exempt have title in hand electric start need to move son is not riding anymore after his brother crashed his sport bike. Not stock has a fake dual tank. Bike is a little dusty now would clean up good a carb clean and a new battery should be all thats needed to get it going maybe a carb clean. New Clutch has maybe 200 miles on it clutch was installed by a shop not home done. Was bought at local Harley Shop (Appalachain Harley). Did buy new z bars. Disk brake front and drum rear. On Feb-18-15 at 05:43:05 PST. seller added the following information:Just got done answering a few questions and figured I would add it to the description. It's a 76 sports (AMF Years) so alot of the safety devices you have on new bikes are not here like Kick Stand Safety Switch Neutral start switch those type of things. It's a 4 speed if you know the 4 speed you know it's a little longer pull than new bikes. It's the drum brake in the rear if I was keeping it I would swap the rear brake with a disk. The front is a disk and thats the stopping power the drum brakes were not known for their stop on a dime performance. Straight Drag pipes so you will never sneak up on a carAnd yes it suffers from bladder control issues I was asked if it leaks. Lets see Old Harley Iron Head (39 years old) if you don't know they leak. unless you don't have any oil in it. nbsp;then this isn't the bike for you. And you will not be able to ride it home even if you bring a battery as stated the tank will need drained and refilled and possibly the carbs may need cleaned. I am not going to sit around for a few hours while you work on it in my driveway. If I get some time I might play with it and see if I can get fresh gas in it and jump it. I don't have a concern at all with it running once gas is drained and a new battery is in and maybe the carbs are cleaned.
