Hodaka Ace 100 1969 / Low Miles Bike / Recent Restoration

I restored this Hodaka about two years ago. The tank has a couple dents. but otherwise is in good condition. The tank has been acid washed and lined. Many new parts went into the restoration including all cables. sprockets. chain. handgrips. battery. air cleaner element. tires and tubes. etc. Most parts are original as the bike was in good shape when I bought it with very low miles. The bike frame was media blasted and painted with high quality canned spray paint (Rustoleum). This was not a "Concourse show bike" restoration. The engine was disassembled and inspected. The cylinder was bored to first oversize and a new piston and rings were installed as the cylinder had some scoring I didn't think was acceptable. Warm or cold the bike starts on the first kick. and runs extremely well. The carburetor was taken apart. cleaned. and rebuilt. The wiring harness is original as it was in excellent condition. All lights work. the horn beeps. . The bike is fun to ride around the neighborhood. I have paperwork and a sales receipt from the previous owners daughter as this bike was part of an estate sale for her father. The bike is not currently registered.
