Fantastic classic Hodaka. Fresh rebuild. every inch of this bike has been gone through. Runs. idles and shifts perfectly. Frame number is A4756 Engine is P13186 Production date is June-September 1965 This is an early version of the Ace 90 (has the short rear fender. rectangular tail light. and raised speedo in bucket). The first model bike that Hodaka (Pabatco) produced. Other really cool features on this bike are the original “duck tail” fender flap and the rare tire pump mounted on the frame. The cylinder sports a Webco ‘True Forge’ racing piston. Gear box. clutch cover. and shift cover are restored and function nicely. The tank has nice original chrome. but has a small dent on the left and larger dent on the right (see photos). Inside of tank is spotless. Paint is perfect. pipe is re-chromed. clean. and has the stock silencer/spark arrestor. Original headlight. tail light. brake switch. and horn all work perfect. Wiring is fresh and tidy; new battery. The seat cover is not an original Hodaka cover – not sure where it came from. Foam. pan. and cover are in very nice shape – cover can easily be swapped to a Hodaka version if you’re into that. Tires are new. clutch cable. brake cable. and speedo cable are new. I thought I had a grey throttle cable. but didn’t. so the current throttle cable works fine. but you can easily replace it with a correct cable. The tire pump. tool box. rack. and headlight rim are original chrome and do have some pitting. The left fork seal holder has scuff rust. The rear rim has minor rust pitting. See photos. This is a solid bike. runs great and ready to enjoy. It has only had a few miles on it since the rebuild. No leaks. no issues. no surprises. Just a nice classy Hodaka that’s ready for a happy home. Great reliable errand bike. pit bike for AHRMA events. or a really fun little road bike. No title. I’m happy to provide a Bill of Sale – depending on your state acquiring a title on a vintage/antique motorcycle is not much hassle. Feel free to email with any questions or request more photos. Local buyers are welcome to come by and check out the bike. Of course. buyer is responsible for shipping/transporting the bike. If you are still reading this. then realize that this bike is 50 years old. It is a vintage motorbike. which requires a certain sense of humor and patience to own and ride. If you're cool that way. then happy bidding. No reserve! On Mar-06-15 at 10:09:15 PST. seller added the following information:I knew I'd forget something: the shift cover had a crack on top - stable. no movement. absolutely no problem with function. I cleaned and JB Welded the area. sanding it before paint. Not a function issue. but it's a blemish - I can send a close up photo of the spot if you're interested in seeing it.
