Hello Again. I have received many inquiries into this bike. so Im offering it up once more. To clear a few things up. this bike is not a salvaged bike. it was bought new at the dealer full price last spring. I went immediately to work making it into a Cafe Racer knowing full well that no vintage bike could ever start from such a platform of performance. (I love vintage. don't get me wrong. but this bike really does deserve its place in the garage). The Bike doesn't have ABS. and I like it that way. I have spent more than $13K building this bike. and it still could go much farther. nevertheless it's ready to go and doesn't NEED anything. If you prefer the stock bike. this isn't a cheaper way to get one. Please Check out the video ive added of me racing the local rooter man. and note the fact that Im barely into third gear when I cut the throttle. http://youtu. be/G09O_towcII I bought this bike brand new with the intention of turning it into a sportier "Café" type bike. The idea was to take a bike with modern braking. power. fueling. and reliability. and give it the look and the ergonomics which make carving around on a vintage racer so much fun. I trimmed some fat and wind resistance. and added a few more HP. The ride here is better than I had hoped for. One finger braking. high revving. torquey. and Fast without being stupid fast. Much of the bike is stock. however all this machine needed was some hand made bits to bring out its obvious potential. 2" rise woodcraft clip ons make the ride aggressive without leaving weight on the wrists. The tank was re-shaped to accommodate the new control placement and professionally re-painted the stock black. Seat is a beautiful leather hand made by a local gentleman who restores classic car upholstery. Rear fender has been cut back. indicators and brake light have been replaced for a lower profile. Yoshimura Handmade 4 into 1 Racing Pipe (not too loud. but sounds very good when the throttle is cracked open). There is a new fuel controller to optimize the race exhaust/fuel delivery. Stearing bearings were changed out to tapered bearings. Center stand was removed. stock kickstand was made slightly longer. I have the original parts including the stainless exhaust with only 80 miles on it. Lights. Center Stand. Decals. Bars. Mirrors. all will be included. There is quite a lot of time. thought. and money invested into this build. Presently the only "unfinished" aspects that I would imagine doing soon would be to replace the stock brake and clutch lines with braided stainless lines. but the bike runs Perfectly as is. Break in Service is complete. and at 950mi. it hard not to just ride it. Please inquire. Mileage may go up over the course of the auction. nbsp;Good luck!
