1988 HONDA CR250R

1988 HONDA CR250R -Turn Key Racer This bike is ready to go. needs nothing but a little more break-in time. It has been completely restored from the ground up. Motor has less than 30 mins time on it since rebuild. only ridden around backyard. FRAME: blasted. primed and painted the correct color "Fighting Red". It was painted with an automotive quality paint. not rattle cans. No cracks. repairs or welds were found on frame. Most bolts. axles. brackets. etc were replated or replaced. Triple clamps have been painted a magnesium color. MOTOR: crank was rebuilt with a new rod and bearing. new main bearings and all seals. Cylinder was re-sleeved to stock specs. has a new Teflon coated Namura piston. rings and bearing. new Boyesen reeds. DG pipe and DG aluminum silencer. Moose air filter. Carb jetted to original specs. New radiators and red silicone hose set with Engine Ice coolant. WHEELS: completely disassembled. hubs blasted and painted. new Buchanan stainless spokes front and rear. Excel rims. (rear rim was changed out to a 19" for better tire selection). new tires and tubes. New brake pads front and rear. DRIVE and SUSPENSION: fork seals and oil replaced. new fork boots. new shock seal head. oil replaced. spring was powder coated red. new chain and sprockets. rear sprocket is red self cleaning aluminum. CONTROLS: New handlebars. grips. perches. levers and cables. IMS wide stainless steel pegs. MSR aluminum shifter. PLASTIC: new front fender. rear fender. side panels. radiator shrouds and front number plate. all from UFO. correct graphics and seat cover for '88.
