1984 Honda VT500 Ascot

Up for auction is this excellent example of an original condition 1984 Ascot. Not only is this low mileage bike in very nice condition it also includes very rare accessories such as the Rifle Sport Fairing in matching red. the original Hondaline luggage rack. and the Kona shocks. Lightly used Mac exhaust is also included. I purchased the bike from the estate of the original owner and have owned it for 6 years. It only has 6590 miles and has always been stored in a heated/air conditioned garage. When the odometer turned over from 5999 to 6000 the "one" also moved making it almost look like 16. 90 miles. but I can attest it only has 6590 miles. Please see the picture of the odometer. The tires are Bridgestone Battleax in very good condition. The fork seals were replaced 2 years ago and a new battery installed last year. The bike starts. runs. shifts. and stops as it should. No oil or coolant leaks. Even though this bike is in excellent condition it is not showroom quality. It has a few blemishes and scratches which I tried to show in the pictures. This bike runs good and has been reliable. It will make someone a good daily driver or an addition to a collection. It is very possible I may take it for one last ride so the odometer might change by 10 miles or so. The reserve is set at $2500. 00 plus the buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping.
