2001 Honda Shadow 750 Spirit - Runs Well - Awesome Exhaust

Hello. Up for sale is a 2001 Honda Shadow VT750DC Spirit. The bike runs well. It is good for a local cruiser. It has some really awesome pipes on it. I don't think they're factory. gives it a nice rumble. almost like a muscle car rumble. The paint job is less than to be desired. someone else repainted it with a purple color changing paint and unfortunately looks like crap. the tank has some bubbles and stripped paint from overfilling the brake fluid reservoir (brake fluid is paint stripper) and rust coming through and broken bondo spots. but could be easily redone with a rattle can and some sanding/bondo work. There's also some rust on the "outer edges" of the bike (i. e. windshield support frame. bolts. gas cap etc. ) and the switches etc look weather worn. The digital odometer is also damaged and part of the LCD has failed. Someone else changed the factory turn signals and put on smaller bullet style lights. The right rear bullet partially melted. Otherwise it has a newer rear tire on it. the main mechanicals are ok. I drove it off and on during 2014 (I bought it February of last year). It has a twin seat on it with sissy bar so you can take your friend on back. Has around 16. 00 miles. Gets about 40-45 mpg. Though the pictures don't show it. I have chrome painted side covers as well. the one side cover is dented and damaged a little bit . Overall its a good bike. but not perfect. please don't expect a new bike. it's "a little rough around the edges" Clear title on hand. nbsp; Bike is registered and insured. so if you have a motorcycle endorsement. you can test ride it [with your helmet on of course ;) ] Bike is located in South end of Midland.
