1984 Honda V-65 Sabre.... Much recent service work, with new tires and battery.

Recent work: Sonic cleaned carbs and carb kits installed. Clutch master cylinder kit. clutch basket gasket. Adj. Clutch. Adjusted valves and installed front and rear valve cover gaskets. and bolt grommets. Coated inside of gas tank (par 15). Cleaned and greased speedo cable. Cleaned rear axle and brake. Replaced both front fork seals. New front and rear tires. New battery. Powerful 1100 cc engine generating 121hp with peak torque of 89ft. lb. This liquid cooled shaft driven bike was ahead of its time in 1984 with these features. included LCD instrument cluster with fuel gauge. trip meter. clock. gear indicator. and engine temp gauge. Everything works!!This bike has virtually no engine noise. It is tight and runs like new!!! Its ready for riding. Everything works as it should. All instrument gauges work. but cloudy covers. For those that aren't familiar with the v65 sabre; When new it and its brother the v65 Magna were promoted as the fastest production bikes in the world. Although they have long been surpassed. they still are quick and exciting. (thrid gear wheelies!!). The Sabre was marketed as the first sport tourer. And does this job quite well. Very comfortable ergonomics for long riding. Overdrive 6th gear makes highway cruising very sedate and controlled. with no buzzing or annoying vibrations. It has an aftermarket sport wind screen. and Corbin seat. (original seat included. ). Everything else is original. With only 15k miles. this bike has many many more to go!!!With the instrument gauge covers cloudy and scratched. the original owner must have kept it outside at one point. Or cleaned with harsh materials. I know that the second owner. and myself (the third owner) have always kept in garage. Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping.
