Description

ThisRare Vintage 1966 Honda CB77 Super Hawk 305cc barn find wasdiscovered hiding in the back of a hay barn long, orgotten by its owners with only 25912 miles.(That's only an average of 528 miles a year). We resurrected this little gem by cleaning the carburetors, dding a new battery, nd providing it with fresh fuel and it came back to life and runs great. The 305cc Super Hawk is considered as Honda's first sport bike. This model features twin carburetors and when tested back in the day by Cycle World Magazine, he parallel twin engine, he biggest then available in a Honda, as an integral element of the bike's structure, roviding stiffness in a frame that had no downtube, nd was capable of 9,000 rpm. It could propel the bike at over 100mph; as fast as British parallel twins with higher displacements, nd with great reliability. Itsaverage two-way top speed at 168.3km/h (104.6mph), nd its acceleration from 0 to 1⁄4mi (0.00 to 0.40km) in 16.8 seconds at 83mph (134km/h).

Author Aaron Frank called it, the first modern Japanese motorcycle... that established the motorcycle paradigm that we still operate under now, ore than forty years later
