This 1987 Honda Super Magna VF700cc has 36K+ miles on it as do most of these vintage muscle bikes that remain. The bike is a collectible as well as a functioning beauty that will get you compliments wherever you go. There were a limited number made in 1987 and they are still highly sought after.
The bike is all OEM. I've had a motorcycle mechanic assess the bike without taking it apart and he states it's running well and didn't recommend any motor maintenance. It has good rubber, ood battery and all the electrics function properly. It just passed the MO safety inspection with no issues.
Cosmetically, would consider it in good to excellent shape with the exception of a small dent in the gas tank and typical small stone chips here and there.
If you've heard of the Super Magnas you'll know that they have a bit of a cult following. They were, nd still are, ne of the best "muscle bikes" ever made--lightweight and powerful through all six gears. They were made in two colors in 1987: Red and Blue. The paint on the bike is the original OEM blue. Honda only made the Super Magna for two years--87 and 88--and supposedly only made 16,000 of this 87 model worldwide. So they are hard to find and their value is rising quickly as would any quality built, ell-maintained Honda from the 80s.
The bike comes with two keys, service manual and a clean Missouri title.
If you are local you are welcome to check it out, nd ride it, s long as you have a MOTORCYCLE LICENSE AND 2,550.00 CASH IN MY HAND. Contact me about where and when to look at it.
Please contact me with any and all questions before bidding. If you would like photos of something specific, lease let me know. I have a video of the bike running. Send me an email and I'll send it back to you.On Jun-06-15 at 07:12:37 PDT, eller added the following information:
