Description

Years in the making, his CB750K DOHC has undergone complete ground up restoration/modification. This is a very nice cafe bike built the way a proper cafe bike should be. The build is one of the finest examples of a DOHC on the street, hort of a pro built bike. This is not your average garage built cafe bike slapped together within a couple of months with a spray painted frame and its handle bars flipped upside down. Since this is not a pro built bike, priced it accordingly.
Modifications:
  • Frame has been stiffened with extra gussets, ross bracing and professionally welded.
  • Frame is powder coated candy red.
  • Steering head bearings replaced with All Balls tapered bearings.
  • Seat cowl is a rare one of "Roman Helmet" styled piece.
  • Tank and seat are professionally painted gun metal with matte black accents in the knee dents and as number plates on the cowl.
  • Seat pad is professionally upholstered.
  • Custom fabricated seat pan and undertail of heavy gauge steel. Powder coated black.
  • Front fender has been bobbed, hot peened, nd lowered (though not quite a hugger). It is removable from the powder coated fork brace should that satisfy one's aesthetic.
  • Engine has NOS gasket set.
  • Sprocket cover is drilled and polished.
  • Clutch cover and timing cover are polished.
  • Engine case covers are fastened with polished stainless hex head cap screws.

  • Adjustable rear sets are burly custom made units from machined billet aluminum. These are the third of three designs fabricated. The first two flexed too much.
  • Swing arm professionally machined to accept tapered roller bearings, eplacing the stock plastic bushings. Swing arm drilled and tapped for spools and will accept any standard race stand. Swing arm powder coated silver.
  • Chain is a new RK 530 O-ring.
  • Rear shocks are CB900 FVQ adjustable (pre-load and damping) Showa reservoir type with replacement Progressive springs. Shock tops are polished.
