1988 Honda Africa Twin XRV 650 RD03

Rare HRC-developed XRV 650 Africa Twin RD03 in very good original and running condition. This 1988 AT was one of the first released to market, s 100% original, nd includes the following extras: aftermarket windshield (original available),center stand, rash bars, ivi top case and hand fabricated/welded aluminum panniers. The original owner'smanual is also included.

This is 1 of 4 Africa Twin RD03’s purchased from previous owners all in Germany. All four Africa Twin’s were shipped to America in early 2015 and are now U.S. customs cleared and in Michigan and titled in Michigan. I currently reside and work in Europe, ut will be available in Wayne County Michigan on 25 July to show the bikes if any bidder would prefer to view the bike before bidding/purchase.

Bike history: For this particular AT, he previous two owners reside in Germany. When I purchased the bike lastautumn in Germany there were no repairs required, xcept a standard cleaning and a bolt placed temporarily through the rear wheel well to hold the seat down (rear seat strap missing). This bike was a true gem to ride and has been very well taken care of. The chain and sprocket are in good order and nearly new with only a few hundred miles logged. Just beforeshipping to the U.S. the muffler developed a small exhaust leak where it meets the main pipe, equiring a refitting of the clamp. The right front main panel also has a missing original bolt with finger tab, eplaced with a standard allen head bolt. This bike has minor scratches and very little surface corrosion. There are scratches on the red leading edge of the front fender. The fuel tank is undamaged with clean interior. RD03 decals exhibit minor flaking near the panel seams between fuel tank and main panels. PLEASE NOTE THE ODOMETER IS IN KILOMETERS, LIPPED AT 108,000 km, r 67,000 miles equivalent.
