This is an un-restored 1964 Honda C200a 90 cc single cylinder. It has been in storage since 1990. It is not running.
This auction is for local pick up in San Mateo County, alifornia, etween 7/28 and 8/2. If you can’t pick it up during that Tuesday-Sunday, lease do not bid. Please do not ask how much it will cost to ship it. Thank you!
I rode this bike in the late 1980s at college, hen moved to a bigger bike and stored in this in my parents basement. It has not run since late 1989, nd it has not been on a public road since then. I’m not sure what the DMV needs to prove that non-use to avoid registration fees, ut I will provide a letter to that effect. I have a clean title for the bike.
This was a fun small bike and a real looker. That said, t will need some work, am sure, o get it back on the road. As noted, t has not run since about 1990. There was some gas in the tank, t will need cleaning. The front brake cable is missing from the bike, ut I am including a replacement purchased on eBay. Back in the 1980s it was impossible to find parts, ow all you need to do is go on eBay. Many of the same parts as on the Trail 90 and other early Hondas.
Original black and yellow California plates. When I bought this it had a nifty clear plastic tube for holding your registration on the plate, ut that fell off one night on a bumpy hill.
Please see photos. Speedo indicates 10678 miles but my memory is that it had stopped working in ’89 or so. So a few hundred miles shy. Chrome is mediocre; chrome on the luggage rack is pretty bad. Seat is repaired with black duct tape. Tank badge plastic has grown brittle and cracked.
Sold as is. No Warranty. Local Pick Up In San Mateo County. I’ll say it again. I cannot ship this bike. I cannot find a shipper for you.
Please email any questions. Thanks!
I've been selling on eBay for 15 years with 100% positive feedback. Though this is the first motorcycle I've sold, nd probably the last.
