Description

The year is 1967, he Beatles, ietnam war, ippies, nrest in our country and Honda expanding their motorcycle offerings for the USA. This CL77 305cc Scrambler was originallyreferred to as the "Gentlemen's Scrambler", owever this 305ccengine was anything but a gentleman. I bought this exact model in High School in 1967 andwas so excited to acquire this bike I am now selling. In the midst of a chaotic USA, onda offered buyers freedom, independenc, utstandingstyling and just plain FUN!The Honda factory literature published the CL77 with 28.5 HP, 38 Lbs., nd gas milage of 90 MPG! NOTE: this bike is complete and notmissing asingle part! The seat cover is ingreat shape and has NO tears orblemishes. The exhaust has no holes or dents. ONLY 8300regional miles! Again, ee photos.I have cleaned the carbs, djusted a few things, nstalled new battery, hanged oil etc and the bike firedright up. This bike runs great, idles smooth, ccelerates, nd all gears and shifting areremarkably smooth. Clutch is easy to pulland does not slip at all. Only comment I would make is it will need tires in the nearfuture. How I found it: A friend told me aboutthis bike, e knew the originalowner in Southern California who was anexcellent mechanic. After his passing, flew to California to view the bike and bought it from his widow on a bill of sale. She could not locate the title in thefamilies personal records and I did not want to press it given the situation. The bike was last titled over 30 years ago in 1984. I have a copy of the registration from 1984. I have not taken the time to secure a title, however I have conducted a detailedsearch in California and here in Texas through both Departments of Public Safety to be sure there was never a problem with history or VIN numbers. Side note, heydon't even have records of vehicles last titled 30 years ago. Thus, am selling with a bill of sale. You can see the original 1984 plate is still on the bike (I will keep the plate for memories). Buyer responsible for shipping or pick up here in Dallas, X. I will work with buyer on your pick upscheduling andassistwith loading. Bike is in secured, conditioned building.Pleasereview the photos and feel free to call me to discuss anyquestions. 972-567-6264Thanks and Happy Bidding!Steve
