You are bidding on a 1982 Honda CBX 1000Sport - Very Collectible. Stunning!
A few housekeeping items, have a clear title in hand. The pictures are recent - within the week. The mileage is correct, nly Honda approved parts were used in the restoration.
Althoughthis bike has over 39,000 miles (whichgood for the year) she was recently restored in my personal facility. The pearlescent paint isdifficult to spray, e perfected it on this bike. She was a bare metal respray - completely stripped down to the bare bones. The entire bike was taken apart, roperly.
The decals are new also. Small items, uch as the turn signal lenses are NOS - as are the turn signal/lights and starter controls on the handlebar - one on each side (of course). We also are installing a NOS brake reservoir (before purchase). There is also a new battery installed.
The bike has been recently tuned - is in excellent condition and runs extremely well. Once choked, he bike starts right up. The sound of this sixcylinder engine is addicting, ou'llwant to twist thethrottle until she hits her 9,500 rpm limit. It'strue, nder acceleration, he bike sounds like a Ferrari. I've owned a number of 12 cylinder Ferraris - and this exhaust (factory) was tuned to sound soulful and angry.
The CBXSport had the factory fairing, f course, hich is exactly why I like her more than the pre-Sport version. Perhaps I'm not a purist - but it is a matter oftaste. Time will tell, ut I think the Sport CBX will be the more collectible of the two. Regardless, ll CBX's are collectible, uaranteed to appreciate invalue. Buy them now before they are too expensive. That being said, am offering my CBX at no reserve sothat the next owner can appreciate her as I have. I'll loose money, o doubt, ut I am looking for another CBX to restore. I'm hooked. So, his one has to go to make room (financially).
NO RESERVE = LAST BID WINS.
Due to her age, he is offered at no reserve, o warranties and no guarantees. She runs 100% - don't misunderstand. me. But your definition of "restored" max exceed my definition. Therefore, nspections are invited and encouraged. If you like bikes, ook at my other auction of my customized 2001 Indian. You'll like it.
I canassist with shipping but prompt payment is requested. Please remember, eposits are non refundable. I do report non paying bidders. I ask that you don't waste my time. I wouldn't waste yours.
Thanks for looking.
