2003 VTX1800R Retro. Very nice bike has been taken good care of. I rode this bike out west in 2010 and it performed great. I have been sick and can no longer ride it so I have to sell. I was going to ride it west again in 2014 but ended up couldn't ride. I had already got it serviced to go so it has a lot that is listed below done to it in August last year and hasn't been ridden since.
Too start with I will say I could not believe the power this bike has. I was thinking of the VTX1300 when I was looking for one and a friend said spend the extra money and get the 1800. So glad I did. This thing isawesome!
Brand new Yuasa Battery.
New front Metzeler tire with about 15 miles on it. Still has all the little nipples on it.
Metzeler rear tire with about 3000 mile on it. I get about 8000 miles from a new back tire.
New Castrol oil and filter change.
New 1 inch up and 3/4 inch back solid aluminum risers from Rivco, 151.00
Has billet aluminum temperature gauge and billet aluminum clock on handlebars. About $80.00 each.
Has hard formed leather bags.
Slide in drivers backrest. A must for long rides. It has a bracket mounted under the front of the rear seat that the drivers backrest slides in to. It don't just slide under the seat without any support as I have been asked.
Seat was sent to Florida and jell filled about 5 years ago and is very comfortable.
Has floorboards.
Front driving lights.
Rear sissy bar and luggage rack.
Its got 15975 miles but most are interstate miles from long trips.
Does have a small scratch on right side of tank, ot verynoticeableand the owner before me had a fork bag on the front forks that he let rest on the front fender that dulled the paint but again not verynoticeableunless you are looking for it.
It is a really nice bike and I hate to let it go. If you would like to talk to me about the bike please email me and I will give you my phone number.
I have it listed locally so if I sell it I will end the listing on ebay early.
If you arrange shipping I would normally assist by carrying the bike up to 20 miles from my house to shipper but due to my illness I have a broken hip and am on crutches now. I live about 3 miles from exit 156 on I81 in Va.
Thanks for looking.
