Up for sale is an all original 1978 Honda Hawk II CB400T that I purchased and drove as a daily driver in NM, nd brought back with me to AZ. I'll list the pro's and cons below:
Pro's:
Recently went through a tune up, arb cleaning and sync, ew gaskets and seals to clear up a small leak. Newer tires. Fires right up every time, ither with the electronic starter or kick. Everything on this bike is original, xcept for the handlebars. Lights, urn signals, orn, ll work. When I purchased, removed the luggage rack, he highway bars, nd the small ape hangers that were standard on this bike. They will be included with the sale, ut aren't on the bike at this time. I replaced some worn cables, nstalled new fork seals. new grips. Transmission shifts smoothly, lenty of power in town or on the highway, hough this bike performs best in town. Brakes are solid, aint is great for a 37 year old bike. Clean title.
Cons:
I took this bike on a 500 mile road trip, nd some oil(already fixed) dripped down on the muffler. This can be cleaned off, r ridden until it bakes off, ut I wanted to list it. Small worn spot on the original seat. Bike could use an overall detail, bought it to ride, ot for show. Have two Triumph's I'm working on so I don't really ride the Honda anymore. Listing this at $2,200.00 or best offer, o someone else can enjoy this vintage bike.
You could buy this and keep it original or strip it down and turn it into a cafe' racer. Either way, ou'll be getting a vintage bike with plenty of miles left on it.
In the background, ou'll also see a 1978 MGB convertible, lso for sale on Ebay and CG. $2,800.00 OBO, earch for it on here.
